Day 2: Arusha to Momella Gate and Miriakamba Hut
- Drive from Arusha to the Momella Gate.
- Begin the trek through lush montane forest.
- Hike to Miriakamba Hut at approximately 8,250 feet (2,515 meters).
- Overnight at Miriakamba Hut.
Day 3: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
- Continue the ascent through the forest to reach the saddle.
- Hike to Saddle Hut, situated at about 11,700 feet (3,570 meters).
- Enjoy scenic views of the landscape and wildlife.
- Overnight at Saddle Hut.
Day 4: Summit Day – Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak and back to Miriakamba Hut
- Start the summit attempt around midnight.
- Reach Socialist Peak (4,566 meters) for stunning sunrise views.
- Descend back to Saddle Hut for a short rest.
- Continue the descent to Miriakamba Hut.
- Overnight at Miriakamba Hut.
Day 5: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate and Departure
- Descend to Momella Gate.
- Meet your vehicle for the transfer back to Arusha.
- Celebrate your accomplishment with a well-deserved meal.
- Overnight in Arusha or depart for your next destination
