4 days Serengeti Balloon Safari

Early Morning:
Wake up before dawn for your Serengeti Balloon Safari. After a light breakfast, head to the launch site for your hot air balloon ride. As you ascend into the morning sky, enjoy a breathtaking view of the Serengeti plains, with wildlife scattered below, including herds of wildebeest and elephants. The early morning light provides excellent photo opportunities, especially during the Great Migration (depending on the season).

Balloon Safari Highlights:

• A one-hour hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti.
• Witness wildlife from the sky, including predators, large herbivores, and birds.
• Champagne toast and a celebratory breakfast after landing in the Serengeti.

Mid-Morning:
After the balloon safari, head back to your lodge or camp for a full breakfast and some relaxation.

Afternoon:
Set off on a game drive through the Serengeti to explore different regions of the park. The Serengeti is known for its rich biodiversity, and you'll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.

Game Drive Highlights:

• Serengeti’s famous wildebeest migration (if traveling in the right season).
• Large predator populations, including lions and cheetahs.
• Birdwatching with a focus on raptors and migratory species.

Evening:
Enjoy a relaxed evening at your lodge or camp. You can either enjoy a sundowner at the lodge or take a short evening game drive.

Morning:
After breakfast, head out for another game drive in Serengeti. Explore new areas of the park to spot wildlife that you might have missed on previous drives. Serengeti is a large park, and different regions offer varying wildlife experiences.

Game Drive Highlights:

• Explore Seronera (Central Serengeti), known for its high concentration of wildlife.
• Visit the Serengeti kopjes (rocky outcrops) where lions and leopards often reside.
• Enjoy panoramic views of the Serengeti plains.

Lunch:
Stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park or at your lodge.

Afternoon:
Take the opportunity to experience the local Maasai culture. Visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about the traditional way of life, their customs, and their relationship with the Serengeti ecosystem. This cultural experience provides an insight into the lives of one of East Africa’s most famous tribes.

Evening:
Return to your lodge or camp for dinner, and unwind after an exciting day of game drives and cultural exploration.

Morning:
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Serengeti before heading back to Arusha or your next destination. This is a great opportunity to see any wildlife you may have missed during the previous days.

Game Drive Highlights:

• Final opportunity for predator sightings and grazing herbivores.
• Visit areas of the park you haven’t yet explored.

Lunch:
Stop for a picnic lunch en route to the airstrip or lodge.

Afternoon:
You will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip or another nearby airstrip for your flight back to Arusha (if applicable). Alternatively, if you are continuing with a longer safari, you will be transferred to your next destination.
